HATCHING DEFINITION : Hatching is done for representation of

drawing. In mechanical it is done for represents the section of object. In civil it is done

to show the material type in object. Hatching is a shading technique that implies shade,

tone, and texture. Hatching is done with series of parallel lines that shows like a shadow

line in scaling, with angle , with transparency, Hatching is very interesting command in

autocad . It is very useful to represent the drawing and read carefully. This is very

important command in autocad to easily read the drawing for manufacturing purpose.
