- ARRAY COMMAND : Array command is one of the best command in
autocad and very unique command in autocad . Array is a set of arrangements in three
types A. Rectangular array B. Polar array C. Path array . Array command found on modify
panel . It make changes in drawing within a time . This command is mostly used
by mechanical engineers to design types of gear . In 3D modeling its named as pattern .
Array command is also access from their short key. By typing letters AR in command
area. It also access from pull down menu bar . It is very interesting and useful command
in autocad . Every autocad beginners are so eager to this command and waiting for
updation in command . Array command and their types make our drawing more easy
and simple for beginners and users . This command is make copy of selected entities in
three types . This command makes our work more easier and fast . By which we can
complete our drawings in proper manner or in quick way. This command is more
creative command in autocad . By this command we can create number of drawings in
short period . Its more advantage in design of gear and assemblies. It completes our work
in very short time. Any shapes like rectangle, circle, ellipse, polygon etc we array

A. RECTANGULAR ARRAY : It creates array of the selected object in

make more easy and simple. For access the command type short key of array (AR) in
command area. Then select the source object which been array around the circle.
Specify the center point of array. After specify the center point of array . Array creation
appear on the top of autocad screen. You enter the value number of items been array.
And important you also fill angle between items. There is another option to enter the
value of total angle between the first and last array item. Press enter to exit the
command. Polar array is main command for mechanical engineering. Array type polar
array plays a important role in autocad for beginners and users. Polar array is very
interesting command in autocad . It makes our work more easier and faster as
compare to other commands in autocad .
C. PATH ARRAY : Path array is the newest type of array. Path
array starts with desired path. Along the path . Array done this is very interesting
type in array command. But all autocad users mainly draw their drawings with polar
array and rectangular array. For path array access this command draw a path curve
and draw the source object which you array. Type short key of array AR in command
area. Then select source object .Enter array type path array . After select path curve
then array creation tab appear in top of autocad screen .In this array you can enter
number of items . Specify the spacing between items. There is many option in path array
creation tab compare to other two types of array . This type is introduce for creation
of very creative and wonderful drawing in autocad . In old versions of AUTOCAD
this option is not available .
